WINTER FARMERS MARKET in VIRGINIA CITY
Held at the Virginia City Artisans & Growers Guild (pretty little cabin/schoolhouse at lower end of Wallace Street, across from Opera House). Second Saturday, February 11 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm (and every second Saturday thru the Summer)
Enjoy Jon Scott's organic, sourdough breads, fresh from his outdoor, wood-fired brick oven. Other local products include homemade jams, choice of delicious baked goods, fresh eggs, local honey, organically grown garlic and local seeds.
The shop also offers an array of locally made artwork for sale. For more info call 843-5833.
