The Virginia City Elks Lodge #390
will host a Veterans Day Celebration on Saturday evening starting at 6 p.m. to
honor past and present United States military service men and women for the
sacrifices they have made and continue to make for this country.
The celebration will begin with a
meet and greet, followed by a ceremony to pay tribute to those who have paid
the ultimate sacrifice. There will also be a cake cutting ceremony in honor of
the 237th birthday of the United States Marine Corps. Appetizers will be served
throughout the evening as well as a cash bar for refreshments.
Proceeds from the silent auction
and 50/50 raffle will go to help veterans at the VA hospital in Helena.
